About Our Classes...

  • The beginning age is 16 years old.
  • All classes are 1 hour in length.
  • Our classes are a mix of men and women with the average age being 30 years old.
  • Gloves will be provided to you during your trial classes. We have leather gloves available for purchase if you choose.
  • Our classes utilize a variety of training tools to keep your class exciting and help you develop your skills faster, i.e. Heavy Bags, Hand Mits, Jump Ropes, Medicine Balls, Fitness Balls and Light Weights.
  • Our goal is to help you achieve your fitness needs and learn basic self defense along the way.

Self Confidence...

We all know that when you look good, you feel good. Imagine adding, “And I know that I can take care of myself,” to the equation. There is no better feeling than knowing you’re in shape and can defend yourself if you ever needed to. What is even more exciting is that with the wide variety of skill related technique drills, whole body fitness routines and stretching exercises, you will never get bored.

Efficient and Effective Defense...

This is how we like to define our program. To be in better shape than an attacker is half the battle. You will learn how to properly and efficiently punch and kick, as well as learn how to strike with your elbows and knees. We stress proper body mechanics and body alignment in order to add a greater dynamic to the skills learned. In a typical class, you will find yourself following the instructor through no impact striking routines. You can look forward to working on one of our 15 Heavy Bags while participating in "timed rounds". Partner combination drills and pad work are very common as well. All of this will be integrated with a high paced routine of callisthenic and plyometric exercises for a "leaner and stronger physique".

Body Toning and Fat Loss...

Did you ever notice how boxers and kick boxers have very toned bodies? They look like they spend hours lifting weights, when the truth is, they don’t lift any weights at all. That’s the same look you’ll get from cardio kickboxing. You’ll get a toned lower body (legs and buns), a flat stomach and a strong upper body. A one hour class will burn 600 to 800 calories! That is a lot of Calories!

Stress Relief...

Let’s face it. This is a major benefit considering the fast paced life styles of today. Our students tell us that this is one of the main reasons they can’t get enough cardio kickboxing. Because of the mental strength that the martial arts develop, students get so absorbed while in class and their problems seem a million miles away. The best part is that you’ll think clearer, sharper and be more confident than ever before.

Individual Instruction...

You are in class for yourself but you are not by yourself. Our instructors will provide you with the most effective, safe and personal instruction available. You’ll receive individual help as you master the basics and on-going guidance from our instructors as your skill level increases.
